Debbie Sindone (pronounced “sin-dough-knee”) is the Chief Health and Wellness Officer at her company, Syrenity Health and Wellness. Debbie’s philosophy is like the quote from Bruce Daggy: “Let’s build wellness rather than treat disease.” Debbie does this by empowering your health and fitness through behavior change, strength training, and cardio and running combined with providing healthy supplements to fill in the gaps when eating and hormone imbalance throw things off. Debbie holds the following certifications: · Personal Trainer, Group Fitness Instructor, and Health Coach through ACE, the American Council on Exercise · Indoor Cycling and Yoga Foundations through the NETA (pronounced “neeta”), the National Exercise Trainers Association · Run Coach through 261 Fearless Inc. Debbie does her best to live the life that she promotes by practicing yoga, downhill skiing, golfing, and running. Debbie has completed a number of races including numerous 5Ks and 10Ks, two Seneca 7 relay races (a seven person relay race around Seneca Lake), some sprint triathlons, a Ragnar relay race (a 12 person, 200ish mile relay race from Boston to Provincetown), and a half Ironman triathlon. Debbie earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from SUNY Cortland and Master’s Degrees in Education from LeMoyne College and Sport Management from SUNY Cortland. Debbie is a lifelong resident of Central New York growing up in East Syracuse and currently living in Liverpool. She and her husband, Dan, have been married for 22 years and she’s the proud mom of a son, Alex, who is a sophomore at Finger Lakes Community College.
