About the coach

MELO Coach/ Fitness Mentor My name is Melo Health and fitness are a continuous journey for me and has been throughout my sports and military career. My credentials include The International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA) personal trainer Certification, The United States Army Fury Warrior Athlete Master Fitness Trainer Course (FWAMTC) Certification, Graduation of both The United States Army Special Forces Qualification Course, and The United States Army Ranger School. I have trained a variety of athletes, warrior athletes and fitness enthusiast alike from children to teens and up to adults. I believe progressive overload while monitoring my clients satisfaction and outlook on their current goals will keep our trainer/client relationship aligned. My Training Techniques encompass, Flexibility and Injury Prevention Training, High Intensity Training, Interval Training and Cardiovascular focused Circuit Training, blood flow is key to feeling the pump. My training style will feel like a realistic push with direct client specific feedback. Success to me looks very much like, my clients achieving or surpassing their initial goals and eventually having the need to set new ones. Let’s start/continue the journey. When it comes to health and fitness, I believe in sustainability over all else! Sure, there are great "12-week programs, 1-month challenges, 90-day transformations", but by the end of the day, when you finish that, what's next? Another 12-week program? When working with clients, I like to build from the ground up. Instead of handing you a meal plan, I teach you how to build your own.
