About the coach

I have studied bodies in motion for most of my adult life. I have been fascinated with how we as humans move and challenge ourselves both mentally and physically. I started when I was just 16 years old as a swimming instructor in my hometown, and continued teaching private swimming while attending college. It is at this time that I realized how much I enjoyed teaching one on one and semi private lessons. I took my knowledge of teaching and what I learned with the physiology of movement and applied it in the fitness field. I currently work as a private and semi private fitness instructor and have been helping people achieve their fitness goals for over 20 years. I work with a variety of people from the advanced athlete doing marathons or triathlons, or the first time gym goer who is just starting their day 1, along with many people who struggle with rehabilitating “weak links” , muscle imbalances, post and pre surgery. Everyone is challenging themselves physically each session. Together we come up with goals and map out the steps that lead them to a healthier version of themself. With the goals and the map I create fun and challenging workouts, incorporate nutrition guidance and healthy eating patterns and motivating them to push past the emotional blocks that keep them from success. I am here to help you too!
